GOSHAWK 11. REAR NUMBER PLATE AND TAIL LAMP. X4152 X4090

We send herewith N.sch. 1278 shewing the tail lamp and number plate at the rear of the car.

The number plate brackets are light steel drop forgings and the tail lamp bracket is similarly constructed.

The front number plate brackets shewn on N.sch 947 were aluminium die castings. We do not know what stage of production these are in but if possible we think these should also be made of very light steel forgings.

Mr. Royce instructs that one spare wheel shall always be carried at the rear of the car, and therefore the sketch of the clamped on cantilever brackets for the wheel carrier shoes shewn on this scheme may not be required.

The tail lamp we wish to use is the one with the 3 bolter flange fitting.
