Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.,'

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of W.A.Robotham Esq.

Further to your letter of the Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW, of the 16th inst, and our Mr. Nichols' letter of the 18th inst, we have pleasure in enclosing herewith outline print showing proposed Petrol Gauge Meter and tank attachment. The dial of the Meter is very much larger than the standard pattern and will, we think, meet your requirements.

The tank unit is of the type which we are now fitting in large numbers of Aircraft and has been constructed specially to withstand very severe vibration. This type would require a different fixing ring on the tank, and we shall be glad to know whether you would agree to fitting this.

Awaiting your further comments which will receive our very best attention.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.

G S Powell
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER.

To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm.
