Four modifications for E.R. Hall's B-21 engine, based on findings from a dismantled B-3 unit.

B-21 E.R.Hall's. Engine.

From results obtained on B-3 unit which is now dismantled, will you please carry out the following on B-21 unit.

(1) Chamfer at the base of the cylinder barrels to be raduised off with a smooth polished finish to the sketch hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}111.

(2) Intermediate main bearings to have the continuous grooves as per the other main bearings.

This also to apply to the rebuild of B-3.

(3) Locking device on the water pump gland nut as per B-11 unit now in Hall's car.

Water drain cock on pump to have positional locking as B-11.

(4) Sump oil filler with ejector breather pipe as std. Bentley but with boss cast on for filling from the extra oil tank as B-11.
