| COPY OF A LETTER RECEIVED FROM:- THE LODGE PLUGS LTD. RUGBY. AML/MAW. 8th March.1922. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited. Nightingale Road, DERBY. FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR.HIVES. Dear Sirs, With reference to your order 8006 for one dozen more Model CD.'s, we have delayed despatching the plugs to this order until to-day in order to send you the new type which is called Model CD2. These plugs are still of an experimental nature, and you will notice there is no name on the insulator, but the detachability of this new design is considerably in advance of the first plugs sent you. If we put this plug into production the steel gland nuts will be zinc coated.
