Brakes. -

These are quite good and smooth in action, tho' not so effective as on the cars fitted with cantaliver springs. More pedal pressure being required on this car.
The side brake is a great improvement. No adjustment has been neccessary on either brake.

No trouble with exhaust cut-out system ;

The riding and springing - - -

The riding of the car both in the front & rear positions is excellent, His very pleased with this. I think it would be an improvement if the front springs were slightly stronger for continental roads. We are very frequently hitting the rubber buffers. A difference was felt when the two spare wheels were removed from the side carriers and the one fittered to the rear of the car.
The rear springing is very good , we feel quite satisfied with this.

With the exception of a little rattle, fromy hardly worth mention, from the deviding window of the drivers side, body, wings, & valances are quite free from rattles and noises........

We get a rattle from the brake levers on the axle,& brake ropes, occasionally over bad sections of road.
