To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copies to PN.{Mr Northey} O.W.E. [PN.{Mr Northey} O.W.E. is crossed out] X3538 [Handwritten] BJ2/H30.10.25. TYRES. Re attached copy of R4/M25.10.25, before taking any action on this matter, we should be glad to know whether you have tested and found the new Dunlop light pattern wheel is satisfactory, and whether standard tyres of other makes can be fitted to it. Our wish always is to prevent the some possibility of supplying our customers with [handwritten 'some' inserted above] form of rim which would necessitate their only using some particular tyre made by some particular maker, which could not be obtained, for instance, in the South of France or in India or Australia. Will you also please let us have your opinion in regard to the reduction of tyre pressure, suggested in the last paragraph? B.J. | ||
