It is evident that you have touched the defect in
getting the gas in and out of these gx engines by the restriction
in the valve bends, and what you have done has definitely
improved matters.

One now thinks that new cylinders for F.10, and new
head for E.16, should be pushed forward with all speed, doing
all we have decided and more if we can find a way of keeping
the gas speed down, even lower than in any previous or
competing engines.

We should also look to the present Phantom, Goshawk
and new aluminium head for Phantom.

Do we want water between the inlet passages? Can it
be made into a single chamber and entrance?

1.4/5 valves for Eagle approved.
