FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. MATTHEWS. Exp- WST

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the Print Part No. E.60632, showing the type of piston fitted to our Managing Director's 4 1/4 Litre Bentley, which you so kindly sent to us, we should appreciate it if you would let us know whether the nominal bore size is 3 1/2", or 89 m.m., and to what limits the bores are machined.

Additionally, would you please advise whether the gudgeon pin is fully floating, or clamped in the small end. If the latter, a print of the gudgeon pin would be welcomed.

It has been brought to our notice that Piston Part No. E.60632 is also fitted to the 1937 25/30 h.p. Rolls Royce, and we should like your confirmation on this point.

Thanking you for your kind co-operation,

We remain,

Yours faithfully,

FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
SPECIALLOID LIMITED
