MYTH.
Production of First 2 Myth Cars.

To confirm notes made at the conference Friday August 8th. 1941 with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. & Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} the following parts were agreed upon.

(1) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will make the exhaust systems. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} will produce a scheme to enable the position of the boxes to be found.

(2) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} agreed to see Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. about the front cowl and the bonnet.

(3) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. working on conjunction with Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} will design the starting handle.

(4) Messrs. Smiths will be approached with a view to obtaining a twin drive, one for the speedo and one for the Tecalemit lubrication pump.

(5) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. will order the propellor shafts.

(6) Hydraulic master cylinder - Rigby and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}

(7) D.Bastow will try and order 2 axles from the Salisbury Axle Co.

(8) D.Bastow will order 2 steering columns from Burman & Sons.

(9) Mr. Green will confirm that he has ordered 2 bodies.

Attached to this memo. is a copy of the Myth sections, shewing how we hope to get the chassis produced, the sections typed in black are to be made by HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} the sections in red by outside firms. In brackets are shewn the names of the persons who we believe are dealing with the outside firms in connection with those particular sections. Also attached is a set of blue prints of :-

PL.532 specification of 10 H.P. Myth which shews the state of each section as regards designs, details and L.O.P.'s. these will assist Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} in lining the job up.
