Mr. Hancock from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} There was considerable difficulty in getting 9-G-111 car through the customs at Folkstone. The car was impounded by the Customs people for two days and we had to send special documents from Derby before they would release it. In future, we want you to make certain that your papers are in order. The responsibility rests with Croyden or Paris. Paris have carried out all the negotiations as regards taking the car to France and therefore they must see that everything is in order to bring the car back again. It must be remembered that import duties are now enforced on cars entering England. We wish you to leave Chateauroux so that you will arrive back here about the 18th. July. In the meantime we should like you to carry out as many investigations as possible in connection with high speed wobbles. We have still not received the results from you as regards :- contd :- | ||
