I think that the shock damper twin valve scheme will take some beating both for simplicity of drilling & jigging. The load on the valves should be sufficient to prevent sticking. We have never seen by lumps of dirt causing sticking of the main valves on BV front dampers although they used to block up the old type of leak holes.
