Leslie Hawkins, Esq.,
Cheslyn House,
Cheslyn Hay,
Staffs.

Dear Leslie,

I have been following up the complaint of Mr. Ben. Clarke, Aldridge, Staffs., which was the address Dot gave me.

I have been in touch with Mr. Hanbury, of Conduit Street, whose job it is to investigate anything which causes customers to be dissatisfied. Attached is a copy of a reply I have had from Hanbury, from which you will see that so far he is not sure whether he has got hold of the right man. I shall be very much obliged if you will confirm the gentleman's exact name and address.

With regard to your own car, I have been over the troubles with the Repair Department, but I am afraid that I shall not be able to try the car to make sure that they have been successful in their efforts, as I shall be in Paris when it is returned to you.

Yours sincerely,
