X7260. To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}7/KT.21.12.31. LONGER BONNET. P.2. We wish to fit a 6.00" overhanging bonnet (N.sch.3392) with concealed rivets, and two dropped sides, to 19-EX, which is being prepared for 10,000 miles test. It will be a useful test for the rivetless bonnet and at the same time may obviate the necessity of building up a stock body with such a bonnet as suggested in EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/12.12.31. Will you please urge the detailing of this job. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
