-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}1/JH.11.2.36. to give an analysis it is noticeable that there has been no complaints of leakage, nor have we experienced any on the experimental cars. The large number rejected on the test rig is now being investigated and we are suspicious that the rubber plugs fitted to the unions are responsible for forming gum in the paraffin that remains in the pump after testing. These were supplied in October and are to be replaced with metal plugs. We have also had the paraffin renewed at the S.U. Works and have arranged to change it every week in our own test rigs. The failures of the C.S.D.C. pumps on the test rig are shown in a separate column. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} | ||
