To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to PN.{Mr Northey} X8370 Hsl/LG19.6.24. Referring to your BJ3/Hl8.6.24. X8-770 [crossed out] X8370 We are still in difficulties with noise from the gears operating the servo. We have just completed some new gears which it was thought would overcome the trouble, but they have made no improvement. The servo gears on the EAC. car happen to be particularly bad and we do not think it would be worth while your running the car until we have made them correct. It will not be possible for the car to be at Gerrards Cross on Friday the 20th. inst. We will endeavour to get it ready for the 27th. inst. and will let you know on Tuesday or Wednesday next whether this is going to be possible. We note your instructions as regards the mechanic and will see that it is carried out. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
