re Vulture.
-----------

Replying to your memo EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/IH.16.11.33, the dimension of 27.75" from the accelerator plate to the under edge of the steering wheel was taken from your drawing of the J.3.F.type steering N. Sch.387 but we agree that it is not enough.

We do not however wish to move the steering wheel and front seat back more than can be helped as this reduces the amount of knee room in the back.

We have, therefore, made an alteration to the accelerator pedal position which makes it only necessary to increase the dimension from the dash to the back of the steering wheel to 33¼" instead of 34¾" shown on EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.105. We are showing the modifications on your drawing and will post it to you tomorrow morning.

With regard to the back seat cushion, we would refer you to our drawings of the Vulture battery box suspension and rear shack damper suspension LeC.3636 and LeC.3643 respectively in which we show the limitations affecting the position of this cushion, limiting the distance between the bottom of the cushion and level top of frame to 2¼" minimum. This dimension on EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.105 scales 1¾".
