PHANTOM III.

Re.Scheme for extra oil to the push rods.

I enquired at Lillie Hall about the two Phantoms running with the extra lubrication scheme and the felt pellets fitted in the rockers. Crawford told me both were satisfactory so far. No misfires and only a slight haze of smoke from one. The scheme looks safe enough to go into production, but would suggest 6 pellets instead of 4 as fitted to the trial's car. I have just had the Paris trial's car fitted up the same way.
