Title: INCREASE OF HOT SPOT TEMP WITH TIME
Subtitle: 1000 R.P.M. LIGHT RUNNING
Subtitle 2: SUPERHEAT HOT SPOT
Y-axis: INCREASE OF HOT SPOT TEMP
X-axis: FIG 1. TIME FROM START (MINS)
Data series labels: 3.5 Pts/HR, 6.66 Pts/HR, 222 Pts/HR
Note: THE FIGURES REFER TO THE WATER FLOW THROUGH THE HOT SPOT SYSTEM.

MAIN TEXT:
We see that to obtain the max. rate of temperature rise it is necessary to employ only a very small water circulation. Not much difference is obtained between water flows of 3.5 and 6.66 pts/hr., so for comparisons with the other systems we will take as the maximum rate which can be obtained a curve which is the average of the two higher curves.

TEMPERATURES RECORDED IN THE INDUCTION PIPE FOR EACH SYSTEM.

The following curves give the actual temperature recorded in the induction pipe at intervals of a minute during the warming up process.
