S/C CHASSIS UNIT.

Running time for week ending Sat. 19th June 31 1/2 hours.
Fitting time for week ending Sat. 19th June 3 hours.

Due to the results obtained from the high power head, the programme put forward last week has had to be modified as under.

Work to be done time.

Valve timing tests.

Power & detonation on inclined valve head. 3 days.

SHOP. Remove dry liner block and fit standard 1/C block with uncooled valve, to RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}340, using best timing obtained in above tests.

Power & detonation. 2 days.

SHOP. Fit the standard Bentley Unit.

Power & detonation as check. 2 days.

SPARES.

The following spares have been instructed :-

(1) Two sets of valve parts.
(2) Re-conditioned T.H.
