Will you please have the following work carried out on the above before disposing of same. We expect to hand this car over next Thursday 7.4.38. (1) We understand the centre bearing requires replacing in the gear box. This should be checked. (2) Remove all foot brake shoes complete with linings and return to exptl. who will provide replacement set. (3) Remove Lucas ignition governor, R.R. type will be supplied. (4) A standard set of valve springs should be fitted. Please return old ones to Exptl. (5) Fit standard rear springs, low rating present ones, to be returned to exptl. (6) Remove front roll rod. (7) Remove tail pipes and return to exptl. a standard new one will be required. (8) Note. main bearings are in the new obsolete AC.2. material. (9) Servo spring to be removed and return to exptl.
