SECRET.

RE. DYNAMO FOR EAC.111 CHASSIS.

Further to our telegram of yesterday.

We now attach copy of comparative curves of the RR. 20 HP. and Lucas E.575 Dynamo and dynamo R.P.M. basis.

Self-explanatory scales have also been added giving the M.P.H. of the present 20 HP. and 40/50 chassis.

As telegraphed, it is considered that the GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine dynamo is not at all satisfactory for this EAC. job.

It is true that the GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine output can be made to be about 1 ampere more on the peak from the point of view of output only without overheating - though this introduces a possibility of trouble with commutation from which we at present are reasonably free and it is not advised that this be done though in one or two instances we have satisfactory running in this condition on our experimental cars.

EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer}
