X1332 Exptl. Dept. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/KW. 6th December,1935. A.{Mr Adams} Healey, Esq., The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Mr. Healey, We do not know whether you have any fresh ideas on tyres, with a view to helping us with the groan difficulties. We are struggling with the chassis side of the problem, but putting rubber between the road springs or axle and the chassis, while helping tyre noise causes other undesirable effects. Do you know anything of the tyre illustrated in the attached advertisement ? Please let me have the picture back after inspection. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
