I am requested by the Managing Director to ask whether the members of your staff are using up old envelopes as often as possible, by the use of economy labels, a supply of which can be obtained at the Stationery Stores. In order that I may reply to the Managing Director's request, I shall be glad if you will say whether or not you are carrying out the use of old envelopes with economy labels.
