ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC. SPRINGFIELD, MASS. X4612 Oy1-E-91327 September 13th, 1927 Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives, Rolls-Royce Ltd. Derby, England. Dear Mr. Hives: Re Brake Damper Many thanks for yours of August 24th HsRm1/LG24.8.27 with attached prints. In view of the difference between the damper as we use it and the damper as you have it today, and the change contemplated in the rear brake drum, it is undoubtedly best for us to let this matter drop until such time as the new rear brake drums become standardized. Yours very truly, Maurice Olley MO/E | ||
