To OY. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} V4612 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG24. 3. 27. BRAKE DAMPER. With reference to your note of the 13th. inst. Mr. Royce got out a scheme for a brake damper which has been approved and tested 10,000 miles. We attach a blueprint shewing how this was fitted for the 20 HP. and the 40/50 HP. We suggest that if you consider it necessary you should adapt it to the rear of the 40/50 and then circulate a proposal sheet for standardising.
