1245 W/P. Sr/VA. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.15.8.38. B.60 GA. - Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Valabregue. With reference to VA.3/ET.11.8.38., there is no reason why this customer should not fit 6.50 x 17 tyres to his car, but if he runs at a pressure which gives him much increased comfort he is likely to run into low speed wobbles.. The steering is considerably heavier. We suggest that the best way to deal with him would be to loan him a pair of big front tyres for a week, and let him make a decision on the results of the test.
