COPY FOR C.S. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (C.S. is struck through)
RE INDEPENDANT FRONT WHEEL SUSPENSION.

We return to you herewith the original layout of the
front wheel independent suspension for P.2. as being fitted
to 27.EX.

After careful consideration we came to the conclusion
that the best policy would be to let Messrs Saunderson and
Holmes make the front wings, apron and running boards for this
car.

To have done the work here we should have had to ask
Messrs Park Ward & Co. to make a full size model of the front
of the car which would have entailed a lot of drawing and
a high cost for the model.

We have informed HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} of this yesterday by telephone,
and the writer proposes to come to Derby towards the end of n
next week to help to make the frontal appearance of this
car as good as possible. We understand that the chassis will
be almost completed by then.
