re. 20-HP ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

With reference to your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T6.7.23, and R's reply R1/M10.7.23, and your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T127.23.

We shall be glad to receive as soon as possible a draft of the instructions you propose to insert in the Instruction Book on this matter, as we think this should be immediately circularised to all our Depots, Agents, Visiting Inspectors, Final testers, Coachbuilders and other people who handle cars.

We shall also be glad to know whether it is settled to take any further action apart from this to avoid the possibility of this trouble recurring.

We note from R1/M10.7.23 R. {Sir Henry Royce} suggests a warning platebe fixed on the instrument board. If this is done we recommend that it should be carried out retrospectively, on all cars affected.
