c Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1025 CONFIDENTIAL. 26th. June 1939. BY.9/N. Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Silver Dawn - 32.G.V11. Four Door Saloon. On this car we have decided to have no heater put on the dashboard, and no corresponding defrosting ducts to the screen. We would be glad if you would fit a heater to the car in accordance with instructions which you will receive from Mr.Edwards in due course. We propose to repeat an experiment which we have already carried out on a car in Derby, of placing a heater somewhere in the car, which will feed warm air to both front and rear compartments. Defrosting will be done by means of an electrical element at the base of the screen, which he will tell you about later. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
