We are pleased this is now all right. You do not say if the engagement and disengagement is reasonably quiet, and it is left to the Works to get the gearing silent. Possibly a slight increase in diameter of blank for the pinion so as to make the pitch slightly greater than the wheel might make the drive more silent.
