X79601 WS. from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} WorE/T.10.2.31. Re 100-GY. Davies. Thanks for your urgent memo C22/C9.2.31 re this car. I have ascertained that E's scheme of new engine mounting can be fitted by Experimental Department to 100-GY in about seven days time, and we are proceeding with this work. Of course, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and others will have to test the car after it is finished, so as to find out the result. I cannot therefore say that the car will be finished for delivery to the customer in ten days time. You will see it will necessarily depend on the result. We will however, treat this as most urgent and vital. H [STAMP] RECEIVED 10 FEB 1931 Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} | ||
