February 23rd 1933.

Messrs Ferodo Ltd,
Sovereign Works,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of Mr.Longley.

Dear Sir,

When you were here a short time ago we were discussing the effect of different brake linings against the new type of cast iron drums. As you know, we are getting very good results on Ferodo Bonded Asbestos, but the rate of wear is rather high. Will A.M.R.2. give better wear with cast iron, if we put up with the tendency to squeaks please?

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
