[...] Item No.2. Tyres. [...] were better and fitted by [...] Mr. Barclay had the car. G.W. Hancock. G.W.H. Item No.[...] [...] inspected on 28/8/16. The battery fell off the car [...] Item No.3. Valves. We obtained six exhaust valves complete, from Paris, before we had any news of any being sent out from Derby, to replace the burnt and distorted exhaust valves. Item No.4. Our speedometer shaft, that is the small square driving shaft, twisted and broke in two, and was reported upon. We asked Paris to supply us with a new one, but evidently not having one in stock, they machined one for us. Item No.5. I am not in a position to say when they repaired a short circuit in the self starter line or changed part of the Klaxon wiring. I am aware that our men did some work themselves to these parts but as far as Paris is concerned they assured me that the work was done by themselves. Washing and polishing the car and delivering to the Show Rooms etc. must have been done sometime during the time Mr. [...] had the car. It was not done to any of our instructions. We also do not know anything at all of having to take a parcel in to Paris. The petrol items we obtained at various times during our visits to the Depot. We trust that this will clear the matter up to your satisfaction. We herewith enclose the invoice. G.W. Hancock. G.W.H. | ||
