With reference to your report HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/AT18/6/20, do the shock dampers loose their grease, or does it simply work from between the plates ? Does it suggest more plates and possibly smaller steps between them ?

I think we ought to arrange the working condition to be 20 lbs. What is the percentage of friction in the front and rear springs themselves ? Perhaps these shock dampers do proportionately too little to justify their existence, yet we understand the result of road test shews that they make definite improvement.
