SKINNER. Dec. 18/31. W.A.Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, I am enclosing you herewith report on R.A.C. observed tests with the S.U. Carburetter on various types of Morris cars, which I hope will interest you. You will notice the carburetters were selected from stock by the R.A.C. observer, and nothing was done to them apart from normal adjustment which can be made by any owner. The test was not a freak one, as although the speed at which the tests were made was not high, the cars were driven at an ordinary steady pace without coasting. I should like to draw your attention to the ton mileage in every case. Kind regards. Yours sincerely, T.C. Skinner THE ENGINEERING AND ALLIED EMPLOYERS NATIONAL FEDERATION 1918 | ||
