Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} and I tested this car last week, it had graphite bronze facings which had run about 10,000 miles, and it juddered badly. New facings and plate have been fitted, and I have today tested and car over the same route and there is no sign of judder under any condition. The parts removed showed no sign of wear and the faces appeared in excellent condition, we are unable to account for the judder. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} P.S. I may mention that there is an almost overpowering smell of petrol inside the body when driving. | ||
