Honeyman - Retail orders} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MA.12.10.34. Replying to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/IH.3.10.34., you will see from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW.11.10.34., that one piece wings are a little if no better than the standard type of wing providing that in both cases they are properly attached to the frame. As soon as the design for the bumper is completed this can be fitted to Mr. Fairey's car which will no doubt remove the source of his complaint. We do not see however that we should be unduly worried about Mr. Faireys Car, as it will be no worse than hundreds of others that have been delivered to customers. We consider that if Mr. Summers has managed to put up with his for nine months Mr. Fairey can be expected to exercise some tolerance for a much shorter time while a cure for the trouble is being standardised.
