Coverley - Production Engineer} has received a memo ' Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.1.2.37., reading as follows:- "I understand that the present position is that the last of 'C' Series is due to Sales 21st August or 4th September adding holiday period, Coronation, Whitsun, summer (two weeks). Allowing one month for testing the last chassis goes to test August 1th. 26 weeks prior to that date means that 'D' Series bar and billet should be released February 6th. It is in order, therefore, for this material to be ordered up into complete sets forthwith and for a further 200 sets of bar and billet to be placed on order."
