Contd. -3- EFC1/T1.8.5.27. (23) Slow make quick break cam. Awaiting experimental shop. (24) Comparative life of U.S.A.Bosch and Remy points. This is partly covered by test No.19. Sample U.S.A.Bosch points sent. (25) Three-part cam as referred to in our EFC1/T1.4.27. Awaiting experimental shop. (26) Still finer primary coil. Awax This coil is being passed for running preliminary to making contact point tests. (27) Scrubbing action for tungsten points. Awaiting W.W. for this experiment. We have been working on the principle referred to in R2/M16.5.27 of continually changing parts, but as far as possible making only one change at a time. The difficulty has been the inconclusive nature of the effects derived therefrom rendering it necessary to make a large number of tests, and still to make more tests, to be able to arrive at a definite conclusion.
