Messrs. Clayton Deandre Ltd.,
Titanic Works,
Lincoln.

For the attention of Mr. S.E. Willet.

Dear Sirs,

You were recently good enough to give us quotation for supplying us with S.2.C.A. and CC type heaters, the figures for same being £2.0.0d. and £2.2.0d. respectively.

However our Sales people have raised objections to the 'CC' type heater on the score of noise and we would accordingly like a quotation for the S.C.R.A. type heator which you have supplied to us at various times.

It would help us considerably if you could let us have this figure with as little delay as possible and also for record purposes, drawings of the 'CC', S.2.C.A. and S.C.R.A. heaters as well as performance charts for each in particular current and power consumptions of heater and rheostat when controlled to various speeds.

We have some such charts here but are not certain that they are up to date.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
