re - Wheel Static on Cars
--------------------

Thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst9/MJ7:5.36.

We quite agree that it is not a good thing to increase the clearance between the brake drums and the dust covers, but it must be remembered that we were up against it with the jobs in question, and were forced to do something to get the customers out of trouble.

We are very interested to note that you are experimenting with the contact brush in connection with this trouble, and perhaps you will be good enough to let us know all about it as soon as it has proved practicable. We hope that whatever you produce, it will be possible for us to introduce it on cars already on the road which may turn up with the "wheel static" interference.
