(6) With respect to P.2 headlamp wiring there seems to be no difficulty in having a continuous wire to the headlamps. We are therefore recommending the following :- (a) Continuous wire to the headlamps. (b) the present wire to the Lucas adapter on the outside of the frame for the wing lamp and up each side, an extra wire going to a small round bakelite disconnecting box such as we had at the end of the steering column, this wire to be used for double bulb lamps, bi-focal, dimmers, or the Bentre lamp. We would be glad if Derby would set this out. (8) It is suggested that with advantage we might elongate P.2. headlamp bracket bolts on the chassis frame 1/8" at both ends. This is due firstly to the fitting of aprons, secondly the varying thickness of the wings. | ||
