RE FUSE WIRE FOR ROLLS ROYCE SWITCHBOX.

Tinned 40 S.W.G.

The fuse wire supplied (Tinned copper .0047" Dia.) was tested by running an R.R.E.575 connected to the R.R. switch with special fuse holders.

The wire fused at dynamo speed of 1,300 R.P.M. with Battery disconnected.

The following figures were obtained:-

Speed. | Dynamo Terminal Voltage. | Shunt Current. | Control current:
1,300. | 32 Volts. | 5.7.amps. | 11.8 Amps.

With battery connected the fuse wire was O.K.
