It is similar to U.402 except that it is slightly thickened up in the W. section. I believe it is fitted to cars from No.2075 to 2300. Two new pivots were tested and were run at a speed of 750 reversals per minute on the test rig. No. 1 broke in 2 hours 30 minutes.
