Messrs K.L.G. Sparking Plug Ltd.,
Putney Vale,
LONDON S.W.15

For the attention of Major C.M. Carington.

Dear Sirs,

We have been experiencing a lot of trouble with the new Corundite sparking plugs due to gas leakage and in some cases one can hear the pressure escaping from the plug whilst standing at the side of the engine when the same is running.

We view this trouble with considerable alarm and should be glad to know what steps you propose to take to prevent this occuring. As a matter of fact we are seriously considering issuing a specification for sparking plugs in order to safeguard ourselves against troubles of the above nature.

Two of the plugs in question are being returned to you under separate cover and we should be glad to have your remarks on this matter as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
