20/25-HP CHASSIS - "S" SERIES - 50 & ONWARDS

The cost of Cancelling the following Mudwing Stays and Stiffeners, ordered for "S" Series - which are at present lying at the Works of The English Steel Corporation Ltd., Sheffield, in a semi finished state - after due allowance has been made for scrap value of the material, is as follows. This is exclusive of any material that may have to be scrapped at our Works:-

100 Pairs - Stays F.55149/50. @ 7/- per pair - £ 35. 0. 0.
100 Pairs - Stays F.55164/5. @ 7/- per pair - £ 35. 0. 0.
200 - Stiffeners F.56698. @ 1/9 1/2d each - £ 17.18. 4.
200 - Stiffeners F.56699. @ 1/10 1/2d each - £ 18.15. 0.
£106.13. 4.

This represents 100 sets of material

We estimate the value of the material lying at our Works (representing approximately 50 sets of finished parts) to be approximately £ 91. 0. 0.

Total £197.13. 4.

We should like to know:-

(1) Is this to be retrospective?
(2) Has Standardisation Sheet been issued for the new Mudwing Stays?

The proofs of the new mudwing stays are due mid October.
