To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x354 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW.17.9.35. In discussing the failures on SpectreCodename for Phantom III with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, we are both of the opinion that the exhaust valve stems ought to be increased in diameter. We feel that now we have had the failure we should not run any risk! Will you please look into the matter from the design point of view.
