re PHANTOM III CHARGING SYSTEM.

------------------------------

We wish to point out that it is not made sufficiently clear in the Instruction Book that there is a fuse in the distribution board which protects the armature circuit and is in addition to the dynamo field fuse to which attention is specifically drawn on page 98.

A complaint of failure of the charging system on Mr. Scott Mason's Phantom III the other day, was ultimately traced to failure of the armature fuse.

The Owner pointed out that had the book been clear on this point it would have saved him considerable time and trouble and would have avoided a special visit of a mechanic.
