R.R. 235 a (150 H) (V.V. 522. 10.2.14) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 0315. Re Bonnets. No. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}9/W4214. Mr Oldham has pointed out to me that he has found bonnets which vibrate badly, and suggests that the spring clips which hold the bonnet to the bonnet strips are rather weak, and that same should be strengthened. I pointed out that this was not advisable as it would make the bonnet difficult to open. He still, however, considers the above policy advisable, and suggests to overcome the stiffness proper handles should be fitted. I shall be glad if you can give this matter attention, and also let me know what I can say to Mr Oldham in reply, or reply direct, and let me have copy. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} MADE AT CROXLEY Mr Dalley. Feb. 4.14. Will you please take up this matter. Have we adopted the new bonnet as standard yet? I agree that present clips are sufficiently difficult to handle without increasing spring. T.N. [Handwritten on left margin]: X1140 | ||
