In connection with your Piston part number EW.2121, you will remember that in your communication of the 21st March, you asked us to supply a drawing incorporating certain features which are our standard practice, and which were enumerated in your letters. We now have pleasure to attach herewith our drawing number P.461 which illustrates these points, and we shall be glad to have your approval of them at your convenience. There is only one point about which we are in any doubt, and that is whether the elliptical grinding which we have shown, would in actual practice give a skirt bearing within the limits of your requirements as shown on your grinding drawing for EW.2121. Only an actual test does determine the final marking and from the first test if the result is not to your requirements, the necessary corrections are very easily made.
